Visit www.bizportal.gov.za and register an account. This portal is linked to Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)
Make sure you have the following information ready:
- 4x business name options
- The names of your directors & identity documents/cards and marriage certificates.
- A 3D secure cheque or credit crd enabled for online transactions
Next, choose your company type, verify your directors' details, specify company details such as tax information and shares. Lastly Submit your 4x preferred company name options & make payment to finalise the process.
Your successful business registration details will be sent to you via email
Benefit:
A successfully registered Company Name, allows you to create a business bank account at your preferred bank.
Tip:
A registered business opens the door to work with bigger companies. Don't let an unregistered business be the excuse that holds you back.
